Metamorphosis of the Soul

 

Like a butterfly embraces its metamorphosis gracefully not knowing for sure whether it would become one, the soul too withstands the trials and blows of the situations, only to emerge into something as beautiful as God’s creation…with ambient colors depicting the solemness of the butterfly. The grandiose with which it takes a flight towards the skies, defines it boldness and strength with which it endured its ever changing creation into this magnificent yet sublime creature…

Whoever thought it was easy to go through life without realizing the lessons that it has in store for us, and lessons you know would be hard and irrefutable, and have to be learnt whether you are prepared or not, for such is the want of the soul, in its desire to transform into something more beautiful.

With innumerable blows to the hot iron, is when it moulds itself into the desired form that we want. Such is the desire of the Almighty to perfect his own creation, by making them endure the several blows which they ever so lovingly asked him to bestow on them, only to sustain the pain and the suffering and finally to emerge into something divine and beautiful, a speck of him, himself.

Ever witnessed the metamorphosis of the caterpillar into a grand butterfly? When you watch the process, it seems so painful and brutal and asphyxiating, considering the poor little larva is struggling and almost trapped inside that tiny cocoon but with so much endurance and persistence it finally emerges into a caterpillar post which it feeds and feeds on the leaves and in a matter of days again dares itself to go through the painstaking process of shedding its skin from the chrysalis, that’s when the beauty of creation is quite evident in front of our eyes, in varying colors and magnificence, flying ever so effortlessly, without reminiscing the pain it might have endured whilst its carefully crafted creation.

 

Such is the plan of God, when he sends his beloveds down and gives them the courage and the grit to endure any number of blows that life has to offer, only to realize in the end, that it’s all in the plan, which the creator is painstakingly awaiting for the soul to emerge triumphant from its self chosen trails to finally metamorphose into something, strikingly beautiful and soulfully sublime. That’s when we appreciate the beauty of our creator, who himself also goes through all the troubles, while seeing our struggle with our woes, but he is watching patiently, for he is endowed us with the necessary strength and power to overcome any obstacles that are presented our way, in reaching our goals of growing our Soul, into the form of the Almighty.

For we are part of him and he will always be within us, it is on our individual selves to recognize that and finally reach our full potential by imbibing the attributes that he has inculcated in us and follow the divine plan…

 

Love…and Let Love…

Angelic Love!!!

 

Love is undefinable. It has a million shades; even love would be oblivious to its changing and divine grace.Love can be sublime, it can be enliving, it can lift you up to the stars just to let you reach for the moon. 

It can breathe air back into you and knock you back out with that one glance of your beloved, which you wouldn’t wanna miss a chance.Love can make you feel youthful and 16 all over again, and make you wanna love life, when you thought you had lost the game. Sweet love can make you wanna walk over the thorn of roses, only to reach your beloved. And make you wanna dance in the meadow and drown in the sweet fragrance of your lover…love can bring out the best and beautiful in you, things that you were unaware off that you were capable to do…

It can make you wanna laugh and cry at the same time, just when he is near and far from out of your sight…love can make you hopeful and ambitious and everything…things that you jus need to desire and they will transpire you from your within…Love can bring out the shades in you, that you never even imagined, it can make you feel on top of the world and pull the ground beneath your feet…

It’s all about how your lover makes you feel, coz when the time is right, love can make you weak in your knees, and churn an million butterflies from your within, with him in front of you and you loosin yourself in him…That’s when you would wanna scream from top of your lungs, only to profess your sweet love for him…that you were dead until now, the moment he stepped in…and made you complete…with his unending and unquenching desirable love for not just you but your within…The love that accepts you completely for all your varying shades, be it bruises and sorrows that define you and your endless shades…for he is the one who has been sent to read your shades, which appear only black and white to the rest of the race…

He’s the kinda lover you never wanna loose, for he accepts you for your pain and your bruise, and has the will to pull you back up, from the ends of the hollow that you had befallen…yet waited his arrival with abated breath…only to follow, the moment he rescued you by risking his life…that’s the kinda lover, who’s your trophy and your precious prize..

A lover that makes you wanna catch the rainbows on a cloudy day, the one who makes you wanna drown in his sageful eyes and lets you wanna lay in his arms without fright..And jus when you know, the moment of your death arrives, you accept the same without any fright…for you are completely astounded with the experience that you had…where an angel descended from heaven, only to teach you love…and gave you the honor of being his beloved, who would not only be revered and remembered in the name of love, but will be cherished for having taken the last breath in the arms of her beloved. 

Such is the love when two love parched souls unite, where one ends and the other begins, no one can decide…where one ends, and the other begins, no one can decide …

Don’t self-constrict your persona!!!

If you ever noticed, there are many shades to a color, but why is that many of us get stuck with only a familiar color, why is that we deter from widening our horizon, by daring to step out in a color that best defines our soul… Don’t you feel, many of us constrict ourselves to the definitions of the meager some, who themselves have not dared to explore their real selves… 

They say life is short, but if you think of it in terms of seconds, then there are a million lives that we can live in this short span of our existence on this planet…And each one we can paint the colors that we desire...

Have your ever imagined, what if we consciously decide how we wanna spend that each second of our lives...either moaning and groaning about the issues that afflict us on a daily basis, or for once break free from the situations that no longer are serving us any good and even worse, are simply dragging our soul…Why is that humans are so so oblivious to their real selves and how strong they can be if only they tread the road untrodden and dare to listen to their hearts beckoning...

So next time you witness some one whining and bellowing about the horrible and harrowing situations they are in, just think to yourself and ask them this one question, if God has given you only this one chance to rectify all that you could in this one lifetime, what would you like to change in your life…and magically you could actually erase the parts that don’t serve you better and also include the parts that you were born to do… 

In short, in your story you are the writer, and as long as you have the power to decide the course of your life, all you need is courage to move forward and the world would be at your feet. Don’t bond or confine yourself from feeling the things that you are born to feel. 

Feeling love and giving love is all that we have taken form for. 

But some get bonded by this love, which somehow also gets lost in the way, and we suddenly are aghast by the situation. Was that the person we once loved? Without realizing the fact that, it was actually the build-up and the image that we created of this person, without giving much attention to the nuances of discrepancies that the person might have held all along, and by ignoring the quintessential triggers day in and day out, we ourselves created the ticking time bomb, which one day exploded, thus shattering our so called dream of a perfect partner or a perfect life. 

If only when someone shows us the mirror and gives a glimpse into our lives, we realize what all we lack and what all we could be achieving, had we just dared to break free from our self-created shackles…'All for in the name of Love'…

Happy Sunday...

Plight of a novice writer!!!

Happy lazy Sunday…Here’s something to ponder on…Food for thought…Hope you enjoy the post…

Plight of a novice writer…

After dodging and dousing several able manuscripts from a list of endless ones, somehow you get yourself heard by the traditional publishers. You might think your journey ends there, but as they as, if you want results you might as well finish what you started, the saying being true for all who aspire to write or even contemplate of writing. 

Nonetheless, the creative vent being quite strong, many of us still dare to forage in this not so financially fulfilling sector, since writing being one of the ways to fulfill the soul’s beckoning of following ones innate and quenching desire to be heard and give a voice to one’s story, just to enlighten a lost soul or simply to leave a mark behind before one perishes. Having said this, it is next to impossible to emerge triumphant in this sector, considering the dynamics of this although alluring yet not so financially fulfilling sector.

To add to the misery a novice being just a drop in the ocean in this vast ever eluding and far receding Industry, does not shower mercy to the ‘New Comers’ (although having published a self-help); the greatest reason being one has to be already a ‘Somebody’, prior to even attempting to enter this forlorn sector, just to become let’s say yet another ‘Somebody’ (e.g. CB an accomplished I Banker, Amish following suit and many more), just adding an extra bit of challenge to the so called ‘New Comers’. The apathy of this industry is, no matter how many ever titles one publishes, one would always be categorized as a ‘New Comer’ until one fine day, their manuscript becomes a successful movie script and hits the theater by a storm.

 

My earnest appeal to the Indian readers, If only they successfully and mindfully for once, imitated this one greatest trait of the West, this Industry wouldn’t be in such an apathetic state as one would imagine. Ironically India being land of Sarasvati, where education and literacy is giving utmost importance, sadly we do not like to enlighten ourselves with a little bit of self-help to work on ourselves and fiction trails even behind.

Having said all this, the facts and figures of this Industry are something that many who venture out in this daredevil domain, are quite aware of but it’s still a fascinating sector, one way to pursue ones dream. Nonetheless I’ll only hope and pray that people of this country wake up and adopt this one missed out trait from the west which could be the only saving grace for this creative vent yet fast receding Industry.

Last but not the least I would only like to say this also speaking for my fellow comrades, that it is easy to give a vent to ones creativity in the form of writing, but it is very difficult and next to impossible to sell this art in this vast and diverse country. Yet for the sake of creativity and sustenance of ones soul’s desires, new comers like us won’t back down. And if a script is good, it would find its way to take the market by storm at its right time Chanakya Neeti and Shiva Trilogies being the best trailblazers paving the way for success through their unconventional ways, thus leaving hope for us new comers.

Bottom line, no matter this Industry is tough, but it is not as demoralizing as many other dry sectors, where though one can feed their body, but one can never feed the yearning of their soul.

Charcoal – Diamond!

I read a quote somewhere, which just hit the right spot…

‘Diamond is nothing but a piece of charcoal that could handle stress well!’

Now how amazing is this quote, which reduces a so called priceless and the most sought after item like diamond into something readily available object like coal used in mundane tasks like say cooking….The beauty of this quote is that, it emphasizes on the power of perception.

The underlying meaning of this quote is nothing but, from hundreds of pieces of charcoal, we turn only a few into this priced object…signifies the true potential of the coal which endures all the processes that it goes through ultimately to give us this most sought after and priceless object of most women’s affection.

Now to apply this analogy to real life, where each of us goes through the routine ups and downs, but if you notice, some of us do not have it easy ever…There will be loads of us, who would have had tough lives in every step of the way, be it family issues, schooling, relationship issues, difficulties at work, marital issues, tough luck or no luck in child bearing, etc…in effect we begin perceiving us as victims of bad luck, bad fortune, and generally prone to difficult lives…and thus the assumption that why some of us are born with a silver spoon while rest of us are doomed to perpetual pain and misery at every step of our lives..

But the beauty of life is in its non-conformities. And these are the very challenges that end up giving us strength to carry on and face the circumstances thrown at us head on…Its these tough situations and circumstances in our lives, that end up shaping our persona and make us handle any pressures of life with so much ease and level headedness, that some who have had all their whims fulfilled would not really be able to comprehend… what actually went behind making our personas so strong…

And that's really the reason why we have only One Gandhi, One Madiba, One Bill Gates, One Mother Teresa, One Mallala, One Sachin and so on….from the crores and crores of people inhabiting this earth…

So either you can play a victim and curse everybody around and the circumstances for how your life turned out to be…or you could decide to lift the torch of your failures and challenges, reignite the learnings from them and move ahead shedding light to the ones behind you, thus empowering them by sending a message – 

‘If you could do it, so can they’.

It’s not the circumstances or challenges in one’s life that define a person, but its how one perceives those challenges and is willing to make the necessary changes and ready to face them head on, that truly defines ones character… And that’s when all those little failures, the early days of struggle come in handy…when the feeling of utter hopelessness and worthlessness had bogged us down and stagnated us, and how we gathered the power and ultimately pushed forth tearing down the wall of ‘NO I CANT DO THIS…to ‘YES...I’m gonna crush this challenge…once again the way, I’ve done it in the past and no one but me can stop me from coming ahead in life’…

And that’s what ends up making us so unique and priceless, just as a simple coal ends up being into something as exquisite and rare as a diamond…

So in a way, it’s good that, not all coal can be turned into priceless diamonds, it’s only the handful of us, who have the endurance of sustaining this grueling tests that life throws at us which end up shaping our unique persona, make us worthy of being crowned as the rare diamonds that we are…

Every individual has the potential to grow into something exceptional, provided he/she realizes their true strength… and are willing to hone it…to ultimately turn themselves into the priceless stone that shines forever…

And that’s the mark of true humanity and the real game of perception…

The only thing certain in life is - 'Uncertainty'!!!

Most people would believe or like to think, that given a chance, they would love to start all over again and re-live their life in a brand new way, of course barring all the flaws, disappointments, failures, setbacks and surely anything negative that has impacted their life.

And when one would have done all that, one would like to believe that they would finally have achieved the quintessential feeling – Happiness and above all Success.

Now what we don’t realize the irony of Success and Happiness is that, they are best nourished and nurtured by their not so favorite adversaries and the notorious duo – ‘Failure and Sadness’.

It’s only when one has tasted the wine of failure that he or she is gonna savor the true taste of Champagne. If only one has known or experienced repeated or prolonged sadness, one is going to cherish the golden and precious feeling of actually being happy.

So the point being, there is a fundamental flaw in our wish, of starting all over again with an illusion of making it right this time, considering our prior knowledge and experiences of the errors committed and to presume to have them corrected this time.

But what we don’t realize is, it’s only because of the timely failures and moments of sheer worthlessness and hopelessness and the lessons learnt the hard way, we have reached where we are today.

To elaborate the same, this symbolizes that we are where we are today due to the people, events, and circumstances that transpired with us in the logical sequence throughout our life’s journey, which truly has been instrumental in shaping our persona, belief systems and our overall way of life today.

Bottom line, experiences bitter or sweet, shape our lives, and make us learn lessons which ultimately mould our belief system. It gives us enough fodder for thought which ultimately carves our niche persona and thus sets us apart from each other in a broad way.

But essentially if we delve deeper into the major take aways from each of our lives, it would throw up a pattern and ultimately the moral would remain the same, i.e. what is that we learnt from Life…and how well are we going to embrace the lessons learnt and willing to make the necessary changes.

That being the ultimate reason for which we even went through the things that were thrown at us in the first place…Think about it!!!

Nothing happens without reason…the grand things in life do have a pattern; it’s on each of us to decode this insane dialect of the ultimate Author – The creator of the World’s greatest Book…

The Book of each of our lives penned by none other than, HE HIMSELF!!!
